Herms District includes 27 Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, Sea Scout Ships, and Explorer Posts serving a total of over 400 youth each year.

Each unit is chartered by a community-based organization that receives a Scouting America charter to use the Scouting program as a part of their service to youth and families.
